30 Jan TELECOMMUNICATION SYSTEMS FOR OFFSHORE FACILITIES – REACH INTEGRATED AWARDED TELECOM SYSTEMS FOR PETRONAS CARIGALI’S BEKOK OIL PROJECT
Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd (MMHE) has secured a contract from PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB) to undertake the provision of engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) for the Bekok Oil Project. The Contract which include the supply and installation of new BEDP-A and BEDP-B Wellhead Platforms which will be installed at the PM9 Field, located in southeastern of Malay Basin, Peninsular Malaysia, approximately 260 kilometres from Terengganu Crude Oil Terminal.
Under this arrangement, MMHE has today awarded Reach Integrated with the task of “Design, Supply, Testing and Onshore Commissioning” of various Telecommunication Systems for BEDP-A and BEDP-B Offshore Wellhead Platforms consisting of Explosion Proof Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) and Explosion Proof Telephone Systems.
