ACTUATORS FOR OFFSHORE FACILITIES – REACH INTEGRATED AWARDED ACTUATORS FOR NEW BOKOR PHASE-3 REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT

The BARAM DELTA PSC (Production Sharing Contract) comprises the BOKOR, BAKAU, BARAM, BARONIA, BETTY, FAIRLEY BARAM, SIWA, TUKAU and WEST LUTONG oil and gas fields situated offshore to the state of Sarawak, Malaysia. The BOKOR field in particular, is located at a water depth of 70m, and when fully developed will consist of 13 numbers of offshore oil & gas producing facilities. Currently, the developer & operator of this BOKOR Field is PETRONAS Carigali Sdn Bhd (PCSB); it is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Malaysian national oil company PETRONAS.

In April 2017, Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Berhad (MHB) was awarded a contract frOm PCSB for engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of a brand new Central Processing Platform (CPP) for the Bokor Phase 3, which has been designated as BOCPP-A. In turn and through MHB’s 100% wholly owned subsidiary Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd (MMHE), has awarded MIR Valve Sdn Bhd with an order for 14 units of Actuated Ball Valves destined for the Flooding & Grouting System of BOCPP-A.

For the same intent and purposes, MIR Valve has since ordered 14 units of ROTORK Actuators from Reach Integrated.
