Malaysia Deepwater Production Contractors Sdn Bhd is a 51% owned subsidiary of MISC Berhad which owns and operates a large modern fleet of LNG, Chemical and Petroleum tankers. MISC Berhad has over 30 years of experience as a reliable provider of maritime transportation for the oil and gas industry.
The Kikeh field is located 120km northwest of the island of Labuan, offshore Sabah, East Malaysia in water depths of around 1,300m. Murphy Sabah Oil Company Limited operates Kikeh field on behalf of partner Petronas Carigali. The Kikeh development consists of a Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel receiving production from wells drilled from a SPAR dry tree unit.
Kikeh FPSO is a converted tanker built in 1974 and has an overall length of 337m with a breadth of 54.6m and a deadweight of 273,000 metric ton. It has a storage capacity of two million barrels. Kikeh FPSO is designed to accommodate an oil production at a rate of 120,000bpd and water injection rate of 260,000bpd water. It can compress gas at 135 million cubic feet a day.
Kikeh FPSO is located and operating in 1,350m of water depth area within the Kikeh field. It is owned by MDFT Labuan and operated by Malaysia Deepwater Production Contractors Sdn Bhd.
Under this arrangement, Malaysia Deepwater Production Contractors Sdn Bhd has today awarded Reach Integrated an order to perform preventive & corrective maintenance works for Kikeh FPSO existing Public Address / General Alarm (PA/GA) System including provision of spares and restoration programs.
Reach Integrated shall be responsible to perform preventive & corrective maintenance acitivities for the PA/GA System on board Kikeh FPSO which will cover components such as PA/GA central cabinet (A+B configuration), indoor & outdoor access panels, various type of speakers, warning & signal beacons, including intergration with prevailing PABX, FGS and DCS systems.
