Reach Integrated Provides Technical Support To Siemens In The Development of Site Survey Report Template

Reach Integrated has successfully completed and delivered, to the satisfaction of Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd, the Desktop Survey results for 411 (four hundred and eleven) T2Net sites, inclusive of budgetary costing of the expected Civil & Structural (C&S) and Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works involved for this proposed rollout program. The main objective of conducting the desktop survey is to derive the closest estimates of capital expenditures for the related works mentioned above for the T2Net rollout program. The estimates are made base on the information available from the official maps published by the Director of National Mapping, Malaysia 1999. The Desktop Survey Results and Report was completed, delivered to and accepted by Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd, approximately 2 (two) weeks ahead of scheduled delivery date.

The Malaysian Government via its regulating body, the Malaysian Communication & Multimedia Commission had in April 2005 set two timelines (namely T1 & T2) for mobile operators to provide nationwide coverage in populated areas as only 75% of all populated areas had mobile access then. For T2, the populated areas that need to be covered are tourist spots, highways, towns and new industrial & housing estates.
