10 Feb Siemens Selects Reach Integrated To Perform T2Net Desktop Surveys
Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd selects Reach Integrated as their Trusted Business Partner to conduct Desktop Survey for 411 (four hundred and eleven) T2Net Model Sites throughout both West and East Malaysia, focusing on the rural parts of the country in particular. The contractual delivery date to complete the said Desktop Survey Results and Report is 11th March 2006. Reach Integrated however, is confident that the company is able to complete the said task within the given timeline.
The Malaysian Government via its regulating body, the Malaysian Communication & Multimedia Commission had in April 2005 set two timelines (namely T1 & T2) for mobile operators to provide nationwide coverage in populated areas as only 75% of all populated areas had mobile access then. For T2, the populated areas that need to be covered are tourist spots, highways, towns and new industrial & housing estates.
